Have things really changed?

In the past five years, I have seen perceptions of those with disabilities change in society thanks to the likes of Australian Of The Year 2022 Dylan Alcott, funnyman Andrew Hills and his mates on ABC’s The Last Leg and people in the society who speak up about their experiences having a disability. But have things really changed?

The Aim Of Through My Eyes

After years of experiencing the common misconception of people with severe physical disabilities as people who aren’t clever and don’t live full lives, I hope this little blog provides humour, but most importantly helps educate the general public and disability workers to respect and dignity.
